“Walk right in, sit right down
Client, let your mind roll on
Walk right in, sit right down
Client, let your mind roll on”

The staff at the Eastside Family Centre, a walk-in counselling centre located in northeast Calgary, is often reminded of the lyrics of the song ‘Walk Right In’, first recorded in 1929 and made popular by The Rooftop Singers in 1962.

At EFC we have adapted the lyrics slightly to fit our experiences. Continue reading

Wood's Homes, Donations

Students from Branton Junior High School who participated in the donation drive for Wood’s Homes EXIT programs.

Luna Sinclair – Grade 7 Student, Branton Junior High School

The program provides a safe home-like setting with consistent daily routines and proactive treatment programming and works with the family if possible. Continue reading
